Night Tour Schedule:
4:30 PM November until March. Friday and Saturday Nights.
7:00 PM April until October. Thursday through Sunday Nights.

Additional evening tours will be added on closed nights for groups of 6 or more. Please call 415-474-3130.

For Segway Tour: All guests must be age 12 or older and weight between 100-250 lbs. No refunds if you do not meet these criteria.

Night Tour Departure Times and Dates :
Fall and Winter: November - March: 4:30 PM Friday and Saturday Nights - We will add additional days with a tour of 4 or more riders.

Spring and Summer: April until October: 7:00 PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nights. We will add additional days with a tour of 4 or more riders.

LOCATION: Segway Night Tours depart from the rear parking lot at 757 Beach Street near the corner of Hyde Street. Located across Beach Street from the Hyde Street Cable Car turn around in Fisherman's Wharf. A Wells Fargo Bank ATM is at the entrance to our training area.

Important: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and start your tour and training on time. The tour and training will last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The night tour stops for lots of pictures. Tours are limited to nine riders. Reservations are required.

Return Details:
Tour concludes at the original departure point in Fisherman's Wharf.

Payment:
Payment in advance by major credit card; Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card. An additional damage deposit must be secured with a Credit Card upon check in for your tour.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher
For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a your E-Ticket Voucher - when your booking is confirmed. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Tour Office.

This tour must be booked at least 12 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Who can ride a Segway? Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?

Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike-it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. That's why we offer 35-45 minutes of training so you can get familiar with riding a Segway. A Segway is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues.

Segway riding is not recommended for pregnant women. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.

All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. Rider must be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand.

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds(46-113 kilos.) Helmets and reflective vests are provided and required.
We do require that all riders be at least 12 years old. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

NOTE: To All Guests for the Segway Tour: All guests must be age 12 or older and weigh between 100-250 lbs. No refunds if you do not meet these criteria.

Liability Agreement:
All customers will be required to review and sign our tour agreement and liability waiver before starting their tour. The San Francisco Electric Tour Company assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of guests. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Changes to a Reservation and Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Reservations require a full deposit via Credit Card. We will send an e-mail confirmation of the date and time of your tour. Deposits are fully refundable if the reservation is canceled 3 days -72 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour. We have a limited amount of Segways. No Shows are charged in full. The deposit WILL NOT be refunded for any reason within 72 hours of your scheduled tour. A signed liability waiver is required prior to your tour departure.

IMPORTANT Check your Confirmation for Correct Date and Time:
It is your responsibility to be at the designated tour location on the correct date. Please check your confirmation carefully. No refund for no-shows.

Languages:
Segway tours are conducted in English.

Meals Souvenirs and Miscellaneous Costs:
Tour prices do not include Meals, Beverages, Admission Fees, Tolls or Souvenirs.

Tour Size, Routing and Weather:
We reserve the right to change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. San Francisco is famous for the fog! Our tours run fog, light rain or shine. We always suggest multiple layers of warm clothing for any San Francisco activity. Summer afternoon temperatures can be in the 50's. Rain gear is available for those infrequent rainy days. Segways are designed to run in any weather. If seasonal fog or weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour.

Hotel Pick Up:
We do not offer Hotel Pick up service for our tours.
