Long trip but worth the time

I was worried that it would be a very long bus ride but there's so much to look at and our bus driver (Leo) had so much information to share with is, that the time went by very quickly. Stopping along the way for food and to stretch our legs also helped. This trip is definitely one not to miss!

Yosemite Park was great and well presented. Unfortunately the coach driver was greatly below standard, inferring that we could catch the BART when we reached San Francisco to save him going to individual hotels. Also, his commentary on the trip each way was extremely disappointing. Also, he did not run to schedule.

We found this easy to book on the internet and had a great time with the driver giving fantastic details of what we were passing. The stops on the way were good and although it was a long day we enjoyed every minute of the day. It has wetted our appetite to see more of the area in the future, and to stay there at least overnight.

Foliage of Yosemite was so sensational! Everything I saw was so beautiful! I'd like to visit there again in this season. The driver explained an interesting information on the way to Yosemite. Not thinking of the seasonal variations in rainfall and no snow pack, I was disappointed in not seeing any of the waterfalls and Mirror Lake was little more than a small pond. Despite this, the tour was well worth the time and money invested. With the size of the park taking a multi-day excursion would be my recommendation, there is just too much to see in one day.

Departure Point and Hotel Pick Up:

  • Guest are asked to meet at The San Francisco Sightseeing Ticket Office at PIER 41 at Fisherman's Wharf. There is ample paid parking lots and very limited metered street parking is available.

  • Gray Line Sightseeing provides complimentary hotel pick up from most hotels in San Francisco. Please be punctual for your pick up time, but allow at least ten minutes for possible traffic delays. Click here for a San Francisco Pick Up Hotel List

Handicapped Accessibility:

  • Wheelchair facilities are available. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the bus on their own and if the wheelchair can be folded. The driver is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions.

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Reservation may be cancelled, without penalty, at least 24 Hours prior to the confirmed tour date. Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
